How Long Does This Take?

How long does it take a group of committed part time musicians to perfect and record performances to have it all mixed and engineered as though every person was working side by side in the same studio? The answer is...a long time....singles take weeks to months and albums (typically 12-18 songs) can take 1-2 years, yes, years!

The duration is impacted by many things - an artist's availability and familiarity with the original version of the song, time to perfect the performance, time to collect all the contributions from each musician for each song, artwork, licensing, mixing-mixing-mixing...did i say mixing?? :-) By the time a single or album is released to the world, there have been hundreds of GPP hours invested to bring it to you.
